The Last Supper

Two nights ago

I witnessed

The Last Supper

You were there

Holding community

Lighting up the fire

Of this tepee

On this Valley

Of rain and sun

I found you

In the night

Far away from everything

While you sang

I even wonder

If you were aware

Of what you were

Creating

Right there and then

From my perspective

It looked like

That famous

Da Vinci Painting

Sharing bread

With your siblings

Men and Women

Sacred fire

The night was cold

And you summoned us

In love

Lifted our spirits up

With songs of

Mountains and Time

Nature and Tranquility

With the clear white

Of your dark eyes

You felt

Like a giant

Your energy was so bright

To melt us all down

In the playa

How could I hold your gaze?

It was too much love

I dreaded to reveal

What would you think?

If, in a moment,

Instantly

Someone was loving you

So deeply

How inappropriate

If you were taken

Even if not knowing

It would want to manifest

Physically

I ended up just taking

What I had

I shield away

When I caught you staring back

While I watched the fire sparkles

Travelling up

I must run

Reconsider deeply what this means

To meet you in the last corner on Earth

How would I meet you

Reciprocate you

And be able to honour and serve you

Thank you

For embodying this essence

Thank you for mirroring to me

What I want to create
